ST. LOUIS — One of the big changes in 2014 on the St. Louis Produce Market is an off-market move by one of the market’s tenants.

Sun Farm Food Service is set to open its off-market facility for business in mid-July, said company president John Pollaci.

The facility, located in the former Front Row Produce home, is just a few blocks west of the market. Pollaci said it was important for Sun Farm to stay close, since the company buys and sells with other distributors on the market and intends to keep doing so.

Sun Farm completely renovated the Front Row building, which is three times larger than Sun Farm’s 7,000-square-foot spot on the market.
