“Super Bowl Sunday is a serious sales opportunity for avocados,” Bohmer says. “Retailers can make the most of it with our Super Bowl Merchandising Display Kits, which include recipe ideas like Cucumber-Pineapple Guacamole and Chicken Tostada Bites, plus prep tips, a ripeness guide, and storage information.”
MHAIA has 4,000 kits available for retailers, he says.
Promotions don’t stop with football. MHAIA also plans to promote during awards season with a new “And the Winner Is…” sweepstakes that encourages consumers to submit a creative awards party recipe. The contest will be promoted in print, on radio, in stores and on social media.
