Joining a growing list of fresh produce industry companies and nutrition advocates, Cashmere, Wash.-based Crunch Pak is now a national strategic partner of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Nutrition Communicators Network.
Crunch Pak promotions will tie into Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPlate messages, according to a news release from the company.
“Crunch Pak’s family of products is ideal for how Americans eat today — portable and convenient — we make achieving half your plate with fruits and vegetables easy and that’s a great story to tell,” Tony Freytag, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Crunch Pak, said in the release.
Crunch Pak is featuring MyPlate illustrations and messages about the Dietary Guidelines on all of its digital communications, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the company website, according to the release. The MyPlate logo also will be on packages of sliced apples.
