“Over the last year, we’ve released multiple offerings in new stand-up handled pouches that offer efficiencies for retailers and consumers,” John Forry, vice president of the Reedley, Calif.-based produce marketer, said in a news release. “We believe that our new Sweet Bursts arils represent a natural extension to our current lineup.”
Shipments started May 20.
The arils ship under the Forry’s Finest label and are available year-round, vice president of marketing Ray England said in the release.
The tagline on the package says, “Nourish your family with every bite.”
The company’s pouch offerings have included grapes, cherries and stone fruit. Besides pomegranates and arils, DJ Forry sources stone fruit, cherries, table grapes, persimmons. The company works with more than 70 farmers in California and Chile.
