Ready Pac FoodsA recent study by Just Kid Inc. surveyed 300 children ages 8 to 12 and found 72% wanted healthy products with a taste they like at school lunches.

Ready Pac Foods anticipated such findings by providing a dip in its Ready Snax product line, according to a new release. The snack packs pair fresh fruits and veggies with a dip or treat. They include:

  • Apples & Cheese with Caramel Dip;
  • Apples, Granola & Yogurt;
  • Veggie, Cheese & Pretzel;
  • Veggies & Cheese with Ranch Dip; and
  • Veggies, Hummus & Sunflower Seeds.

At Allparenting.com, Caesar salads topped the list for innovative lunch ideas to engage children this coming school year. By separating salad components into different compartments, children control their lunchtime meal, building and modifying proportions of their salad toppings.

Mixing is crucial to holding a child’s attention during mealtime, according to Talor Garland of Bloombang Creative Services. Ready Pac Bistro Bowls target that by offering multiple flavors and single-seal packaging, according to the release.
