The U.S. Department of Agriculture decreased its estimate for Florida's orange crop by 1.3 million boxes April 10.

The latest estimate, USDA's seventh of the season, was 130.7 million boxes, according to a news release from Florida Citrus Mutual, Lakeland.

The early-mid varieties accounted for the full reduction. The estimate for navels and valencias remained unchanged at 2.85 million and 65 million respectively.

The estimate for the state's grapefruit crop remained at 28 million boxes, with colored grapefruit accounting for 18 million boxes, and white grapefruit making up the remaining 10 million boxes.
