Florida strawberry grower turns to winegrape growing, wine making

A Sorrento, Fla., grower better known for his U-pick strawberry operation has jumped into wine making.

Two years ago, Harry Stauderman replaced 3 acres of Christmas trees with red and white muscadine grapes—native varieties that do better in Florida's heat than chardonnay or cabernet.
