Ohio State University leads effort to improve Eastern winegrapes, wines

Researchers at Ohio State University will lead a team that seeks to improve the quality of Eastern grapes and wines.

The program will be funded with a $3.8 million Specialty Crop Research Initiative grant.

Also involved in the research will be Cornell University, North Carolina State University, Penn State University, the University of Connecticut, the University of Maryland and Virginia Tech.
