Sunkist Growers Inc. is adding a twist to its annual retail lemonade stand promotion, Take a Stand.
The Sherman Oaks, Calif.-based Sunkist’s promotion aims to boost interest in charitable fundraising through lemonade sales by children 7-12. The company plans to give away 10 lemonade stands a week July 18-Aug. 28.
Sunkist works with retailers to encourage families to host fresh lemonade sales to generate money for charities through creative in-store displays, online tools and giveaways, recipe booklets, mobile marketing and the lemonade stands, according to a news release.
Families can order stands by texting or by scanning a quick-response code on point-of-sale materials.
