Pear Bureau Northwest creates marketing position

KoehlerThe Pear Bureau Northwest, Milwaukie, Ore., has promoted from within to fill the organization’s new position of lead regional marketing manager.

Bob Koehler will be a liaison between bureau president Kevin Moffitt and regional marketing managers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Koehler will also now have the lead role in the bureau’s development and implementation of fresh pear marketing strategies.

Koehler, who has been the marketing manager for the Northwest, will maintain his responsibilities in that area in addition to serving as lead regional marketing manager, according to a news release from the pear bureau.

Before joining the bureau’s staff in 1989, Koehler was assistant produce merchandiser for Safeway’s Denver division for 21 years.
