Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC plans to import mangoes from Brazil this season.
Brazil joins Peru and Guatemala on Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Kingston’s roster of mango suppliers, according to a company news release.
Kingston launched its mango program in January.
The addition of Brazilian mangoes is the latest in a series of moves by Kingston to beef up its international program. In addition to the launch of the mango program earlier this year, in May Kingston hired Yvonne Marpert, a Chiquita and Sunkist veteran, to head its pineapple division.
In July, Mike Anderson was named director of international procurement.
