Registration is online. The seminar is set for 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Pacific time.
The revision process is conducted twice yearly in California and once annually in Arizona to keep the documents updated, said Sonia Salas, director of science and technology at Irvine, Calif.-based Western Growers.
Changes to be submitted for consideration to the LGMA in each state will be determined by the results of the seminar discussion, which Western Growers plans to summarize. Most draft proposals concern sections on animal intrusion issues. Some address soil amendments and other topics, Salas said.
