The logger uses radio frequency technology to allow anyone from any company to check temperatures of product from field to cooler.
“It’s can be used for mobile or facility applications,” said Michelle Alvino, business development manager. “The logger sends a signal to the master control system to allow real-time monitoring. The driver can see the temperature of the product in the back of his truck.”
Furthermore, someone at a corporate office can see a map showing the product path. The map shows a green line when product maintains optimal temperature range and goes red when the cold chain breaks.
“It can help companies make on-the-spot decisions and better estimate shelf life,” Alvino said.
