Turbana Corp., Coral Gables, Fla., is working with Price Chopper to return the Pink Ribbon Produce campaign this fall.

The campaign, Oct. 6-Nov. 2, educates consumers on healthy, active lifestyles, while raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness through banana sales.

Throughout the campaign, Price Chopper's bananas will be labeled with “Proud Supporter of Pink Ribbon Produce” stickers. Money donated by Turbana and Price Chopper consumers goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“We are happy to be partnering again with one of our loyal partners, Price Chopper, on a campaign that we believe in and that we’ve seen directly help benefit women, families, and consumers alike,” says Marion Tabard, marketing director of Turbana, in a news release.

This is the second partnership between the companies this year. Turbana and Price Chopper also worked together to donate more than $10,000 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth through the Produce for Kids “Get Healthy, Give Hope” spring campaign.
