Food safety web seminar at California Strawberry Commission

California Strawberry CommissionThe Watsonville-based California Strawberry Commission plans to introduce a food safety certificate program for strawberry growers at a Nov. 20 web seminar.

The free web seminar is slated for 11 to 11:30 a.m. Pacific.

Microsoft Lync and Apple users can participate here. Apple users need to call 888-855-5432 or 913-689-2981 for audio.

PC users without Lync can join the web seminar here.

The conference identification number is 10056573.

The new certificate program, which also targets ranch managers and field supervisors, offers an opportunity to demonstrate a documented level of understanding of food safety practices during harvest of strawberries for fresh and processing markets, according to a news release.
