HarvestMark DC Insights provides mobile analytics and quality measurement tools that will help the chain monitor products from the point of receiving throughout the supply chain, according to a news release.
Greg Corrigan, senior director of produce and floral for Raley’s Family of Fine Stores, said in the release that using HarvestMark will enable Raley’s to closely manage produce freshness by supplier, commodity and season.
HarvestMark DC Insights helps retailers to digitally record results at point of receiving, according to the release. Suppliers can be benchmarked and made aware when arrival quality dips, and the system will help buyers anticipate seasonal disruptions in supply and improve forecasts, according to the release.
