Frieda’s Inc. has created a new label for its champagne grapes clamshell.

The new green and purple label will be featured on one-pound clamshells of grapes that will begin shipping in volume in July, according to a news release from Los Alamitos, Calif.-based Frieda’s.

The clamshells are packed 16 to a case.

“Frieda’s new label stands out in grape displays, which makes it easier for consumers to find them and pick them up,” Karen Caplan, Frieda’s president and chief executive officer, said in the release.

Frieda’s recommends displaying champagne grapes refrigerated with other grape varieties. They also can also be cross-merchandised with gourmet cheeses and wines.
