Hexacomb, Buffalo Grove, Ill., plans to open a new manufacturing facility in central Mexico.
The company, a manufacturer of paper-based packaging and graphic display boards, plans to build the plant in the state of Queretaro, according to a news release.
Hexacomb expects the new plant to be operational in the third quarter of 2013.
The new facility will manufacture Hexacomb’s full line of paper-based honeycomb protective packaging products, according to the release.
This will be the second facility in Mexico for the company. The company already has a facility in Monterrey.
