In another recall linked to Agricola Daniella brand mangoes, Portland, Ore.-based United Salad Co., has issued a precautionary recall on various products distributed to supermarkets in the Northwest U.S.
The products were distributed by United Salad to supermarkets in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington from Sept. 1 to Sept. 17, according to the Sept. 17 release.
The Agricola Daniella brand mangoes, supplied to United Salad by Food Source, had the potential to be contaminated with salmonella, according to the release.
Brands involved with the mangoes and mango products recalled by United Salad include Mary’s Select, Zupan’s, United Salad Co, Garden Highway and Trader Joe’s and a full list of the UPC codes for the recalled products — whole, diced, peeled halved and fruit salad packs — are listed on the recall news release.
