Caruso Inc. taps president

Jeff BuschBuschCaruso Inc. has promoted Jeff Busch to president.

Busch, 45, has been chief operating officer of Cincinnati-based Caruso since 2005. Jim Caruso, who has been both president and chief executive officer, remains chief executive officer.

Caruso Inc. is a third-party logistics, repack and distribution company that also has locations in Ephrata, Pa., and Richmond, Va. Its two operating divisions are Caruso The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Co. and Caruso Logistics.

Busch began his career at Caruso in 1991 as a program manager, later taking roles in sales, purchasing and operations during a six-year stint. In 1997, he joined Fresh America as a program manager before advancing to national sales director. In 2003, he joined Taylor Farms as national program director.

“In his 14 years involved with our company, Jeff has demonstrated a deep knowledge of our industry, excellence in management and a passion for serving our customers, associates and vendors,” Caruso said in a news release. He and Steve Caruso are co-owners.

The company serves a 12-state region.
