The National Mango Board, Orlando, Fla., is hosting a virtual industry outreach meeting.

The Nov. 28 meeting will be through the Internet and is designed to update industry members with 2012 program results. Planned promotions for 2013 are also on the agenda for discussion, according to a news release.

The Web seminar will be conducted in English and mango industry members can ask questions.

The board meets face-to-face with importers and wholesalers at regular meetings, according to the release, but the Web seminar is another way to contact mango industry members.

“The face-to-face outreach meetings have been very successful in helping us connect with mango industry members across the globe.” William Watson, National Mango Board director, said in the release. “This webinar provides another way for mango industry members to learn more about our programs and how we are supporting the mango industry from the comfort of their own offices.”
