Longwood, Fla.-based N2N combines its food safety, quality assurance and traceability software with Milan, Italy-based Turatti Srl’s production line equipment for fresh and processed foods, according to a news release from the companies.
The joint service provided by the companies is called Sistema NT 1.
“By bringing the software and hardware together in a transparent manner, Turatti and N2N Global are offering the global food industry a one-stop shop for food safety compliance, quality assurance, and production line management solutions,” Ernesto Nardone, N2N’s chief executive officer, said in the release.
The deal will help Turatti raise the level of its food processing capabilities, giving the company new ways to ensure food safety and traceability and boost yields, Alessandro Turatti, Turatti’s vice president and sales director, said in the release.
“Innovation is critical to our industry, as customers need to have technology to help achieve the best in yield, quality, and produce shelf life,” Turatti said in the release. “By combining quality assurance software, everything from product sampling to temperature management is kept in one place for more streamlined management of the final product.”
