Courtesy Ready Pac Foods Ready Pac Foods plans to show a new product, Fresh Fruit Parfaits, at the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit Oct. 14-17 in Atlanta.
The parfaits combine fresh fruits with low-fat yogurt and granola and have fewer than 350 calories, according to Tristan Kieva, director of marketing for Irwindale, Calif.-based Ready Pac Foods.
They come in 8- and 12-ounce sizes. The parfait line includes blueberries, diced red and green apples, diced mango and diced pineapple.
“The new parfaits come in proprietary packaging that keeps each component separate from one another, keeping it fresh until the consumer is ready to enjoy,” Kieva said in an e-mail. “They are on trend with category growth and the key product attributes consumers are seeking.”
