Ready Pac taps sales manager

Brumley Ready Pac Foods, Inc., has named Don Brumley regional sales manager.

He comes to Irwindale, Calif.-based Ready Pac from Colorful Harvest, where he was senior director of value-added sales since 2010.

For Ready Pac, Brumley is responsible for sales in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Western Canada, along with some national account and program responsibilities, according to a news release. He started April 30.

He’s worked for Ready Pac before, as Western division vice president of retail sales from 1999 to 2006.

Brumley was vice president of sales at Nurserymen’s Exchange from 2006 until joining Salinas, Calif.-based Colorful Harvest.

His prior experience also included a nine-year stint at Chiquita Brands International, where he was director of Western region business development.

“(Don) will begin to make an immediate impact on our business with his extensive industry knowledge and excellent customer relationships,” Alan Ediger, Ready Pac senior vice president for retail West, said in the release. Brumley reports to Ediger.
