Trading fairly active at slightly lower prices. Prices slightly lower. Red-flesh seedless-type per pound 24-inch bins approximately 35 and 45 counts mostly 22 cents. Frieda’s president chosen for Goldman Sachs speech

President and chief executive officer of Frieda’s Inc., Karen Caplan, is the first keynote speaker in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses series.

Caplan The speech is July 11 at Long Beach City College, according to a news release.

Caplan plans to share advice for growing a business, including helpful deal-closing tips, social networking and LinkedIn insight and how being a community leader can help with networking, according to the release.

Those who attend the event will receive a copy of Caplan’s “Top 10 Keys To Success in a Family Business.”

Caplan is the daughter of founder Frieda Caplan and she has had many positions within the business.
