FPAA plans annual convention, golf tournament

The Fresh Produce Association of the Americas is gearing up for its 44th Produce Convention and Golf Tournament.

The convention is set for Nov. 8–10 in Tubac, Ariz., at the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa, according to a news release.

“We are really excited about this year’s event,” Lance Jungmeyer, president of the association said in the release. “Of course, with our fantastic weather and our concentration of produce companies for people to network with, the FPAA Produce Convention has been a must on everyone’s calendar for many years.”

The convention will start with educational opportunities like Navigating the New Transportation Landscape, The Nuevo Niche and How to be a Social Media Darling.

The golf tournament will tee off on Nov. 9.

The evening of Nov. 9 will feature the gala event and the Pillars of the FPAA Award ceremony. This award recognizes service to the association and honors those who have excelled in the industry.

Companies interested in registering should contact the associations office at 520-287-2707 or its website at http://www.freshfrommexico.com.
