The company mainly represents Southern Hemisphere growers.
“I wanted our logo to say more about what we do and who we are without losing any of the identity of our past 28 years in business,” Elizabeth Posner, director of marketing, said in a news release.
The website is expected to launch Oct. 15. Its target audience is primarily buyers and growers, but will have consumer links to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube.
An interactive produce calendar will display fruits in season and where they’re grown.
Information on growers and on social responsibility initiatives will also be on offer.
