Davis Instruments, Hayward, Calif., has released its Integrated Pest Management module for stone fruit.

The software connects fruit growers’ weather data to pest risk, giving them a new tool to fight against stone fruit pest damage, according to a news release.

This module is an add-on component that combines with Davis Instrument’s WeatherLink software.

The software is loaded with pest models for all known stone fruit pests, including diseases, insects and mites. Growers can customize the Integrated Pest Management module software to track pests specific to their areas, according to the release.

Growers can see on their computers when conditions are favorable for insect pests to reach a damaging stage of growth, or for disease development to occur.
