USDA lifts sanctions against two produce companies

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has lifted sanctions on two businesses after they fulfilled reparation orders issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

The companies are:

  • Mid-State Produce, Stockton, Calif., can now resume operations. The responsibly connected officers are Selina Hernandez and Ruben Hernandez Jr.
  • Mi Supermercado 2 LLC, doing business as Bravo Supermarket, Fort Myers, Fla., can resume operating in the industry once it applies for and receives a PACA license. The responsibly connected individual is Oqab Abuoqab.
