USDAThe U.S. Department of Agriculture has sanctioned two produce businesses after they failed to pay reparation awards, a violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

They are:

  • New Farm Inc., Brooklyn, N.Y., for failing to pay $24,985 to a New York seller. The responsibly connected officer is Jong Hwa Kim.
  • Parker Products Inc., Goldsboro, N.C., for failing to pay $20,860 to a North Carolina seller. The responsibly connected officer, director and stockholder is Hilda Parker.

As a result, both companies cannot operate in the produce industry.
