Godinez’s responsibilities include working with customers on distribution activities from South Texas and coordinating with the company’s operations staff to improve service.
Godinez has more than 20 years of experience in U.S. customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and third-party handling and logistics of fresh produce from Mexico, according to a news release.
Godinez started a U.S. Customs brokerage operation in 1994 and operated Godinez International, Hidalgo, Texas, for 18 years. In 2012, Godinez became the executive director of Hidalgo Cold Storage, Hidalgo.
Loop Cold Storage’s distribution center is near the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge, a major port of entry for Mexican fruits and vegetables.
