MAGLIO & CO: Richard Butera, director of sales for Milwaukee, Wis.-based Maglio & Co., shows off the company’s new gusseted watermelon bag, which helps extend the life of fresh-cut product by 10-12 days by decreasing the fruit’s respiration rate. Butera says the product is available with watermelon quarters or halves. The company plans to roll the bag out in the fall, he says. By Amelia Freidline
