The system — Transportation Management Software — is designed to provide control over spending, load tendering, dock scheduling, spot pricing and live load tracking, according to a news release. It can be customized and is built on a platform that’s been in place for five years.
ALC Logistics sales are headed by vice president Kenny Lund and chief information officer Chetan Tandon. Kevin Peterson provides sales and implementation.
The software, Lund said in the release, “adds visibility, creates efficiencies, controls costs and eases the challenges of produce transportation.”
