John Ryan is now assistant manager of the La Canada, Calif.-based Allen Lund Co.’s Boston, Mass., office, following a promotion from operations manager.
Ryan began his career with the company as a freight broker in 2003. He became operations manager in 2010.
“John has always been eager and willing to learn all aspects of the transportation business, as well as take on the responsibilities offered to him. He has earned the respect of his peers and teammates in Boston and I’m certain he will excel in his new position as assistant manager,” Lenny Sciarappa, manager of the Boston office, said in a news release.
Ryan said he is proud to work for Allen Lund Co.
“I am proud to say I work for a company, that while continuing to grow, has maintained the values and integrity that give everyone who works here a great reputation in the industry,” Ryan said in the release.
