Allen Lund Co. is partnering with Verbum Dei High School, Los Angeles, for the sixth consecutive year as a sponsor of the Verbum Dei Corporate Work Study Program.

Allen Lund has four students working at company headquarters during the 2012-13 academic year, according to a news release.
Those four students — senior Omar Melendrez, sophomore Sebastian Fragoso and freshmen Tylan Smith and Mark Palmer — will each work five full days a month on a rotational basis.
They will gain experience while working in marketing, carrier resources, human resources and sales departments, according to the release.
“The rewarding corporate work study program provides an invaluable experience for these gentlemen who are able to work in a variety of departments and learn more about our company,” Carrie Petersen, human relations generalist at Allen Lund said in the release. “Our students jump right in, eager to learn, and our employees benefit from participation as well. It’s more than just a work experience here. We truly embrace them into our Allen Lund family.”
