IMPERIAL AND COACHELLA VALLEYS, CALIF., AND CENTRAL AND WESTERN ARIZONA — Shipments (AZ seedless 0-23-16, CA 0-26-78, seedless 0-24-73, seeded 0-2-5) — Movement from western Arizona, Imperial and Coachella valleys expected to increase seasonally. Trading fairly active at slightly lower prices. Prices slightly lower. Red-flesh seedless-type per pound 24-inch bins approximately 35 and 45 counts mostly 22 cents. Organic red-flesh seedless 24-inch bins per pound approximately 35 and 45 counts 35 cents; miniature carton 6s and 8s $20.50. Quality generally good. Allen Lund promotes Chicago office manager

The Allen Lund Co. promoted Justin Berry to assistant manager of its Chicago office.

“I am looking forward to continuing to build the Chicago office with a great team,” said Berry in a news release. “I am also excited about pursuing the expansion of our national business for the entire Allen Lund Company.”

Berry began his career at the La Canada Flintridge, Calif.-based company as a transportation broker in 2006. He was promoted to business development specialist in 2008.

“Justin has done an excellent job handling some of our largest accounts by building our relationship with them as well as maintained excellent working relationships with our many branch offices,” Demetrios Bournias, manager of the Chicago office, said in a news release. “He always takes the time to help others, no matter what the circumstances are.”
