Jolene Hart discusses the health benefits of eating a bell pepper daily in her new book, “EatBook promotes bell peppers for health Pretty: Nutrition For Beauty, Inside and Out.”

In the book, Hart suggests that a bell pepper a day can slow the aging process. Also, she mentions how valuable bell peppers are nutritionally, because each one has up to 600% of the daily requirements of vitamin C.

“The book details the way food offers natural fixes,” according to InStyle Magazine in the news release.

“All along we have known that peppers are tasty and versatile, but new data like this continues to emerge indicating what a nutritional dynamo they are as well,” said Mike Aiton, director of marketing for pepper shipper Prime Time International Coachella, Calif.
