Vegetable harvest supervisor Clemente Millan has retired from Soledad, Calif.-based Braga Fresh Family Farms.

Millan retired May 2, about a month after his 18th year with the company.

“After 18 years of hard work ensuring quality vegetables get to market, workers like Clemente are a big part of our success and our extended family,” Rod Braga, president and chief executive officer, said in a news release. “We’ll miss in him the office and in the fields.”

Millan lives in Greenfield, Calif., with his wife of 39 years, Eloisa. They have four children in Yuma, Ariz., and 10 grandchildren.

“I am proud to have been trusted with my job all these years and am honored to be a part of such a great group of people,” he said in the release.

Braga Fresh sells organic and conventional fresh vegetables under the Josie’s Organics, Fresh n Healthy and Golden State Broccoli labels.
