Libke will handle a variety of sales responsibilities, focusing on helping the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company bring product to market, according to a Sept. 19 Oppenheimer news release.
Most recently Libke spent about 15 years with C.H. Robinson Worldwide, serving in sales and management positions. His experience includes the produce supply chain and logistics industries.
In particular, Libke worked as a third-party broker selling to retailers, he said in the release. He also said he was drawn to the Oppenheimer Group because of its emphasis on grower relationships.
Libke’s job history also includes work creating, managing and selling nationally distributed, value-added products. He set up the national network of manufacturers and distributors for a sliced apple campaign and oversaw the management of partnerships and sales of the product line. He also has experience launching promotional, cross-merchandising and volume incentive programs for consumer branded products.
