Bridges Organic Produce has completed a digital transformation with a newly released website that works across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms. The organics company is also working to increase its social media visibility for better interaction with its customer base.
Photos and commodity information regarding Bridge’s varieties of organic apples, pears, summer fruits, row crops and potatoes are featured on the site. It also offers information for wholesale and retail buyers including packing specifications, product availability calendars and Price Look-Up and Universal Product Codes.
A unique area of the Bridges’ website is the grower profiles section, where organic growers practicing sustainable farming practices are highlighted. Customers can see the growers they support through business with the company.
Bridges recently hired Sydney Fairchild as marketing and sustainability coordinator to manage the growing media presence of the company.
“The goal of Bridges social media is to not only keep our customers and consumers up to date on the seasonal produce we represent, but to also serve as a source of information regarding the constantly evolving organic market,” Fairchild said in a news release.
