The office will focus on providing temperature-controlled logistics services, according to a news release from Brussels-based C.H. Robinson Europe, a subsidiary of Eden Prairie, Minn.-based C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc.
Temperature-controlled transport is one of the fastest-growing business segments for the company.
C.H. Robinson Europe chose Rotterdam because of its harbor’s strategic location. The company has 34 offices in Europe, but the Rotterdam office is its first dedicated to temperature-controlled logistics.
