CHEP USA is relocating its headquarters from Orlando, Fla., to the Atlanta area. CHEP, which manages pallet and container supply chain logistics for customers in the produce, beverage, consumer goods, home improvement, automotive and other industries, plans to move to Dunwoody, Ga., on the north side of Atlanta.

The pallet distributor publicized the move in a March 16 news release. It expects to complete the move by fall.

Aside from its headquarters operations, CHEP plans to use the office space as a base for other Americas region pallet leaders and global pallet business segment functions, according to the release.

Brambles Industries Ltd., Sydney, Australia, CHEP’s corporate owner, plans to use the location as a regional office, according to the release.

“Georgia offers CHEP excellent proximity to many of our key customers, provides advantages in recruiting and attracting talent into our organization and offers an outstanding quality of life for our employees who will relocate,” Kim Rumph, CHEP’s president, said in the release. “We are delighted to join the Atlanta business community. We look forward to becoming actively involved in the community.”
