CHEP showcased new global innovations in the fresh produce market on June 24 at the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Connections event in Auckland, New Zealand.

CHEP’s workshop on “building better supply chains through collaboration and innovation” included IFCO Systems’ senior vice president of global business development, Fred Heptinstall, CHEP Austraila & New Zealand president Phillip Austin and CHEP New Zealand country manager, Mike O’Brien, according to a news release.

The company featured a new in-store merchandising concept for reusable plastic crates pioneered by IFCO North America.

“The conference is a great opportunity to showcase our recent pipeline of exciting solutions for an industry with many unique supply chain challenges,” O’Brien said in the release.
