The Center for Produce Safety, University of California—Davis, posted information online about the research presented at its second annual Produce Research Symposium in June.
The symposium featured 16 CPS-funded projects from eight different institutions, according to a CPS news release, as well as 22 research posters updating various projects, and five posters about Food and Drug Administration research projects on food safety for the first time.
The abstracts for the projects and posters can now be found on the CPS website, cps.ucdavis.edu.
In addition, the center posted “key findings” about the research from Bob Whitaker, CPS technical committee chairman and chief science and technology officer of the Produce Marketing Association, Newark, Del.
The key findings also include comments and feedback from the technical committee.
