Following on the heels of the success of its Organic Marketing 101 web seminars in May, Santa Cruz-based California Certified Organic Farmers will present an advanced course seminar twice in July.

The Marketing 201 web seminars are scheduled for July 26 and July 28, said Tina Cosentino, program and member services specialist.

The group’s initial marketing seminar focused on helping growers determine what market channels to pursue.

“This one will concentrate on how to prepare and present an availability sheet, invoicing, relationship building techniques and sales pitches,” Cosentino said, “We’re also building more interactivity into the webinar.”

Dina Izzo, a 30-year veteran of the organic produce industry, will again present the web seminar. Audio recordings of Organic Marketing 101 are available on the Education & Events page of the CCOF website.

Registration for the seminars may be completed online at www.ccof.org/programs.php. The fee is $10, Cosentino said. For further details, Cosentino may be contacted at (831) 423-2263.
