Sliced crimini mushrooms shipped by Abbotsford, British Columbia-based Avina Fresh Mushrooms were recalled Aug. 6, according to a news release from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
Affected product includes 454-gram packs with the codes 205, 206 and 207 and UPC number 207890445001379.
As of Aug. 6, affected product was being recalled from grocery stores, according to the agency. No illnesses had been reported as of Aug. 6.
The recall was issued following CFIA tests. The agency is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
