A new series of reusable temperature recorders in Cargo Data Corp.’s Boomerang line are designed to monitor loads in closed-loop, round-trip transportation systems.

The reusable recorders, designed for supermarket delivery fleets, foodservice distributors and similar operations, stop the need for repeated purchases of single-use temperature recorders, according to a release.

“As federal and state regulations increasingly require in-transit temperature monitoring on seafood and meat products, Boomerang can save delivery fleet operators lots of money,” Roger Niebolt, sales manager, said in the release.

The Boomerang products can be used with Cargo Data’s free KoldLink software, which allows data to be viewed, e-mailed, printed, archived, and saved on the UpLink cloud storage system using the ID number assigned to each recorder.
