Caruso Logistics, Cincinnati, has opened a new location in Jacksonville, Fla.

Jeff Busch, chief operating officer, said the facility allows the company to offer customized trucking programs in the Southwest, Midwest and Northeast U.S.

“Our Caruso Logistics Florida division will enable us to further service a current customer with a dedicated, multi-regional, refrigerated tractor trailer program,” Busch said in a news release.

Founded in 1932, Caruso Inc. re-packs and distributes produce in a 12-state region. The company is owned by Jim and Steve Caruso, grandsons of founder Sam Caruso. Caruso Inc. is headquartered in Cincinnati, with additional locations in Ephrata, Penn., and now Jacksonville, Fla.
