A summer promotion offers a Disney resort vacation for four to consumers who visit the Chiquita Brands International Facebook page and enter the “Summer to Remember” sweepstakes.
Consumers can also text “ChiquitaFun” to 66937 for a chance to win the Disney vacation, which is being promoted via Chiquita Bites fruit snacks. The sweepstakes runs through June 30.
Chiquita, which just relocated its headquarters to Charlotte, N.C., has complete retail promotion kits available. The kits include point-of-sale materials and are supported by a nationwide digital advertising campaign, according to a news release from the company.
In addition to entry forms for the Disney trip, the “ChiquitaSnacking” page on Facebook offers games and downloadable Disney coloring pages.
Chiquita Bites and other Chiquita products are available at Walt Disney World Resort and theme parks as part of both companies’ campaigns to encourage healthy snacking. Chiquita Bites products include apple slices and pineapple spears that are pre-washed and ready to eat.
