Founded in 1991 as Sunridge Farms Inc., the operation has sold a variety of fresh vegetables under the Coastline brand for more than two decades, according to a news release.
“We know that consumers want to connect with the sources of their food,” president Steve Henderson said in the release. “And we are proud of our commitment to the land, our people and our products. We want to let our customers and consumers know of our culture and our quality.”
The new name also was based on input from employees and consumers.
Along with a new logo, the new moniker is just the first step as the company plans to introduce new products, expand sustainability programs, enhance its quality assurance and launch new consumer and foodservice programs.
